With two months left to the race start on the 25 May in Karlstad, Sweden the organizers can count more than 20 teams in the Championship class.
| The course is almost finished and all the agreements with local governments and land owners are done.The course will take the teams on a journey through a landscape of forest hills and past several lakes. "We want as many teams as possible to reach the finish line. That is why we have made the trekking stages rather short (<35 km) and in terrain with good or rather good passability" Say Erik Pütsep in Karlstad Multisport. | "We are really satisfied with the number of teams so far. But we can take care of more and we hope we will get more non Nordic teams." Say race director Mathias Carling.
