Euroadventure.net rules of participation Euroadventure.net has set certain rules to make EA cup better and fair for every race event involved.
The first rule states that it is obligatory for all participatory events to fully respect all the following rules. Race event that breaks any of these rules will be excluded from EA cup.
Which race can join Euroadventure.net cup
A race that wants to join Euroadventure.net cup must:
- have 100 - max 400 km long race track
- have teams made of four members with at least one female member (can also include 4 females) or pairs (In this case two pairs must compete to receive points)
- have starting fee lower than 1000 EUR.
I. TEAM RULES
Rules about who or what kind of team can enter Euroadventure.net cup must be the same as it is only this way possible to evaluate how many points did a team get by winning at a certain race.
Euroadventure.net cup competition model is set for mixed teams of four people (2-3 day races) or shorter races for pairs or single.
FOUR MEMBER TEAMS (mixed) There must be at least one female represented in a team. A team of four females is also acceptable! Teams with three (3) or less contestants are not allowed to compete for the title.
PAIR TEAMS Pair teams can be mixed or of same gender. To receive EA points 4 members of the team (t.i. 2 pairs) must compete on the race. The points are given by the average result of both pairs. At least one woman must be include in one of two pairs.
Following rules go both for Four member teams and for Pairs!
The team consists of four people aged over 18. Every race organiser should add to their race rules.
The actual age of contestants is proved by a personal ID, which must include a picture.
The race organisers do not take the responsibility for the contestants. Prior to the start of the race every contestant is obliged to sign a document declaring that he/she competes under his/her own responsibility and fully understands and accepts the rules.
A team captain has to present all demanded documentation to the race organisers. This variates from race to race and teams should anyway follow certain race rules when entering one.
II. TEAM'S EQUIPMENT
Team's equipment list depends on a certain race organiser and is not set by EA cup. Every race included in EA cup can have it's own list of equipment needed and teams are already competing by rules of the race, not rules of the cup. Rules of the cup are only set for organisers of race events not for racers.
Each team member has to wear his start number (a shirt given by the organiser) from the start of the race on. Official race jerseys must include Euroadventure.net logo and should be worn all the time during the race.
III. DISQUALIFICATION
The race can be excluded from EA cup if it does not:
- follow the rules set by Euroadventure.net
- act by the letter of agreement signed by race organiser and EA cup.
