MOUNTAIN MARATHON 2006 is an international event, not only for sportsmen, but also for enthusiasts of tourism and active way of rest. Depending on difficulty level, routes and disciplines are directed for people in different age and experience.

MOUNTAIN MARATHON 2006 is an international event, not only for sportsmen, but also for enthusiasts of tourism and active way of rest. Depending on difficulty level, routes and disciplines are directed for people in different age and experience.

Place: Poland, Kotlina KĹ‚odzka (mountain)

MOUNTAIN MARATHON 2006 competition – disciplines:

- - > adventure race (AR)

Comprehensive challenge.
Spectacle special tasks (rope descending, overcoming underground passages, rope bridges)
- AR-150km, including 50 km running and 100 km mountain biking, very hard route, for everyone experienced and after 16 (time limit: 24h)

- - > mountain bikin (MTB)

Distance adjusted to competitors age:
- MTB-2,5km, easy route, for children till 12 (time limit: 1 h)
- MTB-10km, recreation route, for youth 12-15 (time limit: 1 h)
- MTB-25km, open route, for everyone after 15 (time limit: 3 h)
- MTB-50km, hard route, for everyone after 16 (time limit: 5 h)

- - > mountain biking orienteering (MTBO)

Poland Cup at a Great Distance Orienteering
Based on mountain biking orienteering rules.
- MTBO-150km, hard route, for everyone after 16 (time limit: 12 h)

- - > mountain running (MR)

Distance adjusted to competitors age:
- MR-1km, easy route, for children till 12 (time limit: 1 h)
- MR-2,5km, recreation route, for youth 12-15 (time limit: 1 h)
- MR-10km, open route, for everyone after 15 (time limit: 2 h)
- MR-50km, hard route, for everyone after 16 (time limit: 12 h) 

KĹ‚odzko Land is a very attractive and diverse ground. Natural attractions (mountains, rocks, caves), mysterious, powerful and mighty structures (fortress – KĹ‚odzko, Srebrna GĂłra, old mine – ZĹ‚oty Stok) makes that everyone who searches for active rest place will have much incredible experience.
