After the successful beginner-race in May 2006, there will be another difficult and demanding challenge for the participating teams!  

The organizers have chosen a unique distance in the middle of Germany. The teams have to get over approx. 250 � 300 km and about 5000 height metres in a charming countryside. According with nature, the teams have to bike, swim, run, paddle, orientate and climb.  

First meeting for 2 and 4 member teams will at the �Posthotel“ in Rotenburg on September 29th, 2006.  

After a knowledge check, planning and preparation for the race, all teams will be ready to go to the start point of the German Quest Adventure Challenge on September 30th, 2006.  

All teams will try to finish the demanding distance as fast as possible, under attention of the special adventure-race-rules.  

Decisive for the race will be the team structure, the orientation and the race preparation. With less sleep first teams will finish the race after about 50 hours. 

The disciplines:
Swimming: approx. 800 -1000 meters
Bike: approx. 150 km
Trekking: approx. 50 km
Rush & bike: approx. 40 km
Canoe: approx. 30 -40 km
Climbing/Abseilen
Other surprises 

All interested athletic teams (2 member / 4 member), who have some experience in orientate and navigate can be registered for the race. GPS equipment is not allowed.

Bonus: If your journey is longer than 300 km, we will give a bonus for the travel expenses. You can get 50,- Euro for a 2-member team and 100,- Euro for a 4-member-team. This bonus will be paid when you pick up your start documents in Rotenburg.
