Slovenian Adventure Race Team

Durasport Pustolovec Rajd team combines athletes who share their passion for genuine and true adventure. Through challenges posed by Adventure Racing the team seeks excitement, thrill and reaches for the boundaries of its endurance. In the year 2007 the Durasport Pustolovec Rajd team will participate in Euroadventure Cupwhere the team aims to compete with its maximum input in order to gain experience on European level and to consolidate its name.

VASJA JERCIC

Born: 1972

"I could say about myself that I am someone who sees tests of endurance as a means through which various perspectives of challenges posed by life revile and bring me pleasure in spite of sweat, suffering and physical exhaustion.

I participate in Adventure Racing because it offers just the kind of a challenge I am after, since I am someone who is really found of nature and also an all-rounder. In Adventure Racing I see a challenge and an opportunity to reach for the boundaries and limits of my endurance. Additional dimension of the sport is team work, through which every individual contributes to the group.

Besides Adventure Racing a lot of my work is put in organizing and consolidating of various sport events and in promotion of active way of life.

I could say about myself that I am a person who does not take sports and politics in a very serious manner, but can not imagine life without the two. I participate in Adventure Racing because I am quite convinced that Adventure Race routs are the best tourist guides money can buy.

Besides Adventure Racing I do free climbing, mountaineering, coffee dinking and go to Pustolovec Rajd adventures.

MATEJA VERTELJ

Born: 1980

I could say about myself that I enjoy in meeting new challenges. I participate in Adventure Racing because it is the only sport where I can find a good combination of endurance, appeal and team work.

Besides Adventure Racing I do a lot of different sports, but mountaineering is the one I like the most.

LUKA GREBENC

Born: 1975

I could say about myself that I am a man who knows that a thousand words say more than just one picture.
I participate in Adventure Racing because challenges and competitions mean a great deal to me. In this way I can realize what I am made of and push my limits even further. I also value team work, which is very important, and if one succeeds in putting together a team who thinks as one, success will follow.

Besides Adventure Racing I dedicate my time to Alpine climbing, tourism and to laziness.
