What is Euroadventure cup?

Euroadventure.net was set up as a media for connecting adventure races, adventure racing teams and other individuals that like the adrenalin, outdoor sports and are prepared enough to see the spectacular european terrains through adventure racing.

What do I get from Euroadventure as a race organiser?

As a race organiser you will get the chance to be involved in a cup that joins different adventure races in Europe. More foreign teams will register to your event. It will be easier to get a sponsor because he will be seen outside your country.

What do I get from Euroadventure as a racer/team?

Teams will get a chance to win a cup and beautifull prizes. Registering to EA races through Euroadventure will get you a discount for entry fees.

Can my race be a part of Euroadventure?

Every race can be a part of Euroadventure cup as long as it satisfies the basic rules set by Euroadventure. Are winter adventure races also welcome?

Because we want to expand the cup over the whole year, winter challenges/races are also welcome.

Can I use the stuff published here on my website?

You can use everything from news, pictures and reports as long as they are not used for commercial purposes. You should write the source of your data, that's www.euroadventure.net.

How many members can be registered in one team?

A team that will register on Euroadventure.net website can register 6-8 team members. All races joined in EA are made for teams of four(4) members, so a team can always find a suitable replacement for a race.

Should the team always be made out of same team members?

Initially registered team of 6-8 members can ragister to any race.

How does a team get points if a race is made for pairs?

If a race is made for pairs (2 members in the team), two pairs from one team (a team that is registered to EA) must compete on that race to receive EA points. Points received from both pairs are then summed up and an average score is calculated.
EXAMPLE: Team EA has registered 7 members to EA website. If they intent to race on adventure race made for pairs, four members of the team must register (2 pairs) to the race. Their team names will receive numbers as EA1 and EA2. One of these teams must still include at least one female member.

Do I need a female partner on races, that are made for pair teams?

Yes, one of two registered teams must include at least one female member.

When will the cup start?

The cup starts every January 1st, but the first race always depends on the races included in EA cup.

Why do I have to register my team through Euroadventure.net website?

The purpose of Euroadventure.net adventure cup is to join european adventure races and to populate and promote adventure racing in Europe and among recreational athletes. By establishing EA cup, registrations through EA website were made to satisfy that purpose. Euroadventure also has a better overview to all races and teams that compete for the EA cup.
